Prateek Bhardwaj – Head of Shared Services Center
Prateek  joined LDC seven years ago in India to set up the Center of Excellence for Execution, Derivatives and  Automation. He took over as the lead for the LDC shared services center in 2019 and is currently charting its transformation into a dynamic, agile firm while retaining the entrepreneurial values that have made LDC a behemoth in the commodities business.
An architect by profession, Prateek received his MBA in finance from HEC Paris in 2003. He has had a wildly diverse career, ranging from designing buildings to a process consulting startup to  managing  large global teams across derivative ops, finance, projects and risk for a bulge bracket global bank.
He prides himself on being a hands-on manager and a champion for driving change. As LDC embraces new innovations in the global food market, the opportunity for the SSC to reinvent itself is something close to his heart.
Prateek lives in Sofia with his wife and daughter. He is an avid reader and a very amateur golfer.
